Bursa black fig, which has not rival in the world, conquers the export markets

Uludağ Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Exporters' Union (UYMSİB) Vice President Prof. Dr. Senih, in his press release, said: "17032 tons of Bursa black figs were exported from Turkey. These figures are not to be underestimated. However, our potential in fig is well above this. We export our Bursa black figs to Germany, UK, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Austria, Hong Kong, Italy, Belgium and Czech Republic."

"There is no market in the world to be rivals for Bursa black Fig. We are open to new markets as being unrivalled. Glad to that we are conquering one of the target markets for Bursa black fig. We have managed to enter the Chinese market last year. This year, we aim to enter the Far East along with Scandinavian and US markets" he added.

In 2018,15 million 32 thousand dollars only from Bursa, 38 million 897 thousand dollars worth of black fig exports in general have been realized. This year, export figures are expected to increase by 5 percent compared to 2018, according to estimates...
