TÜRKTED AT A GLANCE...

TÜRKTED is a non governmental and a non profit organisation with an aim of improving and strenghtening Turkish Seed Industry. The membership is voluntary and 44 seed companies that are active in various stages of variety registration, seed certification, processing, trading etc are the members of TÜRKTED.

The members are specialised in different product groups such as field crops, indsutrial crops, forage crops, vegetables, grasses and ornamentals etc. TÜRKTED has its own ethical rules that the members must obey.

TÜRKTED was establisted in 1985 and has been active for 34 years in the seed sector. Our members produce approximately 75% of the total certified seed produced in Turkey and appoximately 80% of the total certified seeds exported from Turkey.

TÜRKTED is a member of International Seed Federation, ISF, European Seed Association, ESA and Economic Cooperation Organisation Seed Association, ECOSA.
